Townsville employment opportunities!
Shout-out to our Regional Coordinator, Clynt, for going above and beyond by taking the Employability Skills Training (EST) class on an outbound experience! They visited Unique Partnerships in Townsville, an organisation dedicated to empowering people to live independently and thrive in their communities. Special thanks to CEO Aaron, who guided the class through an inspiring visit and shared insights about the volunteer-to-employment pathway opportunities, helping individuals gain skills and transition from volunteer roles into paid employment.
As part of the EST Program, our Participants visit local employers to gain real-world exposure to workplaces and industries in their community. During this visit, the class had the chance to ask questions about how the organisation operates, explore the types of jobs available in the sector, and discover how they could contribute in similar roles.
These outbound visits aren’t just about learning—they’re also an opportunity to meet potential employers, make connections, and open doors for future job prospects.
The EST Program is a Workforce Australia initiative designed to equip job seekers with the practical skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to secure and maintain meaningful employment.
