NDIS YOUTH Employment Assistance
Formerly known as School Leaver Employment Supports, the YOUTH Employment Assistance program is designed for young people aged 15–25 to help create a successful career pathway, whether you’re still in school or transitioning into the workforce.
A PERSONALISED APPROACH
We can focus on understanding your unique strengths, goals and challenges. Our dedicated Career Coaches will work closely with you to co-design a personalised employment plan that guides you towards achieving your goals.
YOUR CAREER JOURNEY
If you're ready to supplement school work experiences, obtain part-time work while finishing school, and explore what work means, we're here to help.
EMPOWERING YOU FOR SUCCESS!
We are here to help you in your work discovery to build essential foundation skills for work and to connect you with other agencies when you leave school, such as your local Disability Employment Service. We are here to journey with you to successfully obtain or retain employment.
ELIGIBILITY
If you have a current NDIS plan that includes Capacity Building – Finding and Keeping a Job, Employment Assistance, or School Leaver Employment Supports, we can help. If not, and you'd like this added to your plan, speak with us, and we can provide you with a quote to take to your next NDIS planning meeting.
PLUS!
We can help you develop work skills in employment settings and assist with training to build specific vocational skills, which can then be applied in the workplace. If appropriate, we can also partner with your Disability Employment Service provider to help you secure employment or provide ongoing support.

NDIS Employment Assistance
The NDIS Employment Assistance program offers support in finding and keeping a job and is designed to help Participants successfully obtain or retain employment in both the open and supported labour markets.

Our NDIS Employment Assistance program helps to identify your strengths and goals, matching you with the right job and creating a career plan that fits your employment goals.
READY TO FIND AND KEEP A JOB?
If you are ready to enter the workforce, transition to a new job, or transition from an Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE) to open employment we can assist you to build essential workplace foundation skills and develop a career plan to set you up for success.
WORK PREPARATION
We can connect you to work experience opportunities!
We encourage hands-on 'try and test' experiences, with the goal of connecting you to local businesses for work experience or potential job opportunities, alongside mentorship and career coaching from our team.
ELIGIBILITY
You must have a current NDIS plan with Capacity Building – Finding and Keeping a Job. If you don't have this funding in your current NDIS plan, but need help finding and keeping employment, we can assist you with a quote to request this support category at your next NDIS plan review.

NDIS Improved Learning
The Improved Learning program offers tailored support to help you transition from school to further education, providing skills training, advice, and assistance with arrangements and orientation.
A PERSONALISED APPROACH
NDIS Improved Learning equips you with the skills, advice, and personalised support needed to transition from school to further education, including assistance with student applications and understanding timetables. The Improved Learning category is designed to support you on your pathway to further education.
HIGHLIGHTS
A key highlight of the NDIS Improved Learning program is its focus on providing tailored support for individuals with disability to access educational opportunities. Helping participants develop essential skills that enhance their ability to engage in training, study, or vocational learning.
ELIGIBILITY
To access NDIS Improved Learning supports, you must have an active NDIS plan with Improved Learning under the Capacity Building category.
You might choose to go to university, explore a vocational pathway like TAFE, or gain valuable work experience to learn on the job. Whatever path feels right for you, be sure to include it as a goal in your NDIS Plan so you can receive funding for the supports you need.
