Well done Gary!

Gary joined the Career Transition Assistance (CTA) Program at the Sunnybank Career Centre, with the goal of returning to the workforce in a warehouse environment.

Gary’s CTA Facilitator helped him discover and understand digital literacy skills to search for work opportunities that would match his transferable skills and utilise his existing forklift licence.

Throughout the program, Gary has updated his resume and cover letter and enjoyed learning about the “Skilling Queenslanders for Work” program which will create further opportunities for future pathways into the workforce.

Gary shared with us that, “'It was educational from my perspective. I am not a computer genius, so it helped me to re-learn a lot of things about the functions of the computer, the computer programs and all the things I had forgotten.”

We wish you all the best on your continued journey, Gary!
