CTA helping Laka Laka unlocking new chapters!

Laka Laka (L) is currently thriving in our Career Transition Assistance (CTA) Program at Browns Plains! With the support of her Facilitator, she has been exploring her career interests, built digital literacy skills, and gained the confidence to navigate the local job market.

Through this journey, Laka discovered a strong interest in Aged Care—a field where her transferable skills shine. She’s now officially enrolled in the Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged and Disability) - CHC33021, ready to take the next step after graduating from CTA!

Pictured with Laka is Danielle, Program Coordinator from SkillsHubs, who celebrated this exciting milestone with her.

Danielle shared, “Empowerment starts with community-driven practices. Through collaboration between Logan City Council, Skills Hubs, Workways and Designer Life, we create inclusive pathways that build skills, confidence, and connections to meaningful employment”.
